The use of concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) columns is highly encouraged nowadays in modern multistory structures. major reason the extensive resistance offered by hollow column to high compression. Nevertheless, further studies and data are desirable exhaustively characterize these members their connections other members, such as beams. This paper investigated behavior connected I-beams through plates. Three simple types plate (easy assemble construct) were proposed evaluated. was examined under static loading using advanced finite element based software (ABAQUS). modeling techniques used this study validated comparing numerical results a connection model with two relevant experimental studies. classified semi-rigid according Eurocode-3. These able move plastic hinge away from panel zone. maximum rotations all greater than 40 mrad. failure mode, moment-rotation curves beam discussed on results. influence material thickness evaluated via parametrical study.
